Stop trying to work things out before their times have come. Accept the limitations of living one day at a time. When something comes to your attention, ask Jesus whether or not it is part of today’s agenda. If it isn’t, release it into His care and go on about today’s duties. When you follow this practice, there will be a beautiful simplicity about your life: a time for everything, and everything in its time.

Mother’s Day!

This coming Sunday we will celebrate Mother’s Day!

I will celebrate my Mother and my family will celebrate me! It’s a blessing not to take for granted.

It’s a good time to pause and think about the heritage we have received and the one we are leaving.

Yet for many Mother’s Day is a difficult day. For many varied reasons it is not a day of celebration but a day of hidden tears.

It’s a good time to reach out and give some loving care to a lonely mom; to one you know has pain in her heart. Give a meal or
a flower or simply a hug or a phone call.
