Thanking the Lord

Today our first grandchild is one week old! What an amazing thing to see this wee one, so perfect and so precious!

John and I knew we would love this little one dearly and have anticipated his arrival for months! Yet we were not quite prepared for the wonderful feeling of being completely enthralled by him!

God is so good and we praise His name for this very dear addition to our family! What fun it will be to watch him grow!

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights…” James 1:17

Thank you, Lord, for this very good and perfect gift wrapped up in this little boy.

Congratulations!  Eveyone tells me how wonderful it is to be a grandparent and you can’t imagine it until it happens to you.  Well, our grandson is excepted on June 6th; we are excited but at the same time still un-aware of how amazing it actually will be.  I know our daughter and her husband will be overwhelmed at knowing this is their son; a new life, a gift from God.  It’s our responsibility to be praying for this boy. Thank you Lord that your plans are to prosper this child not to harm him!

Gail: Just a note to tell you how much I enjoy reading your Daily Devotions. Today is my first and not last, visit to your web page. I really enjoy your writings the most out of all the others! Keep up the good work and congradulations on your new Grandchild. What a gift from the Father.

Thank you, Jean and Nora, for your kind words and warm congratulations. Yesterday we had the baby shower for this new little grand-baby and my daughter presented both Grandmothers with a lovely Grandmother’s Bible!

Truly a treasure and a privilege to pass on the generational blessing of prayer coverage for our grandchildren.

I am grateful for the heritage of God’s amazing love.

Take care.

Warmly,
Gail
